9 Mar 2026

Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural PCIM Asia New Delhi Conference, the event returns to India on 9–10 December 2026. This year, due to tremendous interest, the conference is moving to the Yashobhoomi Exhibition and Convention Center (IICC) in New Delhi. Scientists, industry experts, and young talent from industry and academia wishing to speak at the conference are invited to submit abstracts on the wide range of topics in power electronics by 21 May 2026.

The Indian edition of the PCIM makes a valuable contribution to technological advancement in the region. It offers a novel platform for showcasing groundbreaking innovations, promoting strategic alliances, and strengthening dialog between industry, science, and politics. In doing so, it remains true to its claim of acting as an "agent of change" for the Indian power electronics sector.

Lisette Hausser, Vice President PCIM of Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH: “As a country that offers considerable potential for the power electronics industry, India was the obvious choice of venue. Its dynamic market environment and innovation-friendly policies are real drivers of research and investment. We see strong opportunities for growth in areas such as renewable energies, e-mobility, and drive systems in particular, which we are keen to support with the PCIM in India.”

Positive outlook for the event’s second year

Once again this year, the conference will be the main focus of the event. Bringing together leading industry experts and respected scientists, the high-caliber presentations will provide a fascinating glimpse into the future of power electronics. The accompanying exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand the latest products and applications and become better acquainted with the dynamic Indian power electronics market.

Last year’s event welcomed more than 550 participants, 120 speakers, and 75 presentations, facilitating professional exchange at the highest level, while the accompanying Expo gave 50 exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their latest products and applications. Well-known companies such as Mitsubishi Electric, Infineon, and Rohm were all in attendance. A significant increase in participants, speakers, and exhibitors is expected for 2026.

Call for papers: Entries invited until 21 May 2026

A rigorous peer review process ensures the research quality and technical relevance of the submissions. The selected papers will be presented at the conference and will contribute to the discussion on innovations and future trends in the sector.
