EMV 2026: Industry establishing an early presence – trade fair preparations in full swing

17 Nov 2025

Just over five months to go until the EMV, the international trade fair for electromagnetic compatibility, opens its doors along with a conference and corresponding workshops in Cologne from 24–26 March 2026! A full 80 percent of the exhibitor space has already been allocated, and preparations for the EMC industry’s meeting of the minds are progressing at pace.

"The high demand for exhibitor space clearly shows how important EMC is to the respective community," says EMV Vice President Jeannette Meyer. " The EMV combines theory and practice like no other event in this field. With a proven concept that includes both a trade fair and conference, it offers insights into the latest research findings, technical developments, and practical solutions. At the same time, it promotes an intensive dialog among scientists, developers, and users. This interaction makes the EMV an indispensable meeting place for all those working on the further development of electromagnetic compatibility."

Numerous well-known companies have already confirmed their participation in the EMV 2026, including Albatross Projects, EMCO Elektronik, EMC Test NRW, Frankonia EMC Test-Systems, GAUSS INSTRUMENTS, PHOENIX TESTLAB, Rohde & Schwarz, and Schlöder. This impressive line-up of exhibitors will be complemented by the Newcomer Pavilion, which will feature eight up-and-coming firms. This joint booth is geared in particular toward exhibitors who are taking part in the trade fair for the first time. It will give them the chance to present their products and services to an international trade audience while making contacts within the industry at the EMV. The current list of exhibitors is available on the EMV website.

Planning on track for conference and workshops

The call for papers for the 2026 EMV Conference is now closed. Based on the abstracts submitted, the conference committee has put together a program that defines the current topics and focal points of the event. The full content of the presentations and workshops is expected to be published on the event website from mid-December. Interested attendees can begin registering for the conference in January 2026, which will allow plenty of time for program planning.

Interesting facts for exhibitors and visitors

In the coming weeks, additional details on the trade fair and conference program, the trade fair forum, and the companies participating will be made available on the EMV website. An initial list of exhibitors with details on the companies and their offerings will also be posted online starting in late November. This will enable exhibitors and visitors alike to get an overview of the event at an early stage and start their trade fair planning in a targeted manner. However, the EMV doesn’t just provide specialist knowledge and networking opportunities during the trade fair. Throughout the year, EMV Insights provides participants with information on trends, practical perspectives, and access to EMCareer, the platform for current job vacancies in the industry. EMV Events complements these offerings further with seminars and after-work get-togethers.
