Sustainable energy use in our office buildings
Since 2017, our offices in Stuttgart and Frankfurt have been powered entirely by green electricity and since 2024, we have provided a certificate of origin: Our electricity comes from wind farms in Wilhelmshaven, the Saale district, and the Cologne region, as well as from the Boitzenburger Land solar park between Berlin and Szczecin.
In addition, we have consistently relied on LED lighting since 2015.
Environmentally friendly mobility
70% of our employees use public transit or the train for their commute. This is supported by the free Deutschland Jobticket, which Mesago provides to its employees.
There is a metro station right at our Stuttgart location, and charging stations for electric cars are available. In total, 80% of our fleet is already hybrid, and we are continuously expanding our use of electric vehicles.
IT Collection Point: Passing on resources wisely
Through our IT collection point, we pass on functional devices to employees or social institutions. Devices and work equipment that are no longer needed are collected here, inspected, and then passed on. In this way, we continue to use existing resources, avoid unnecessary disposal, and simultaneously support projects that benefit from functional technology.
Acting responsibly together
With the JobRad program and regular trash collection drives, we consciously shape our daily work routine.
In addition, we consistently strive to use resources efficiently in the office, for example by using printers and company stationery certified by the Blauer Engel (Blue Angel).
