Practice-oriented EMC training: Workshop program of the EMV 2021 published

24 Nov 2020

The workshops, which take place at the same time as the trade fair for electromagnetic compatibility in Stuttgart from 23 – 25 March 2021, offer a highly relevant and wide variety of subject.

Eleven of the 36 workshops will be held in English with international speakers set to impart practice-oriented specialist knowledge and report on experiences from specially tested EMC applications.

Six spotlight topics: from automotive to certification

The committee has taken into account current topics such as autonomous driving and 5G, as well as the highly popular basic workshops for newcomers and career changers in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.

The agenda consists of six subject areas: Filters, certification, drives, measurement, functional safety and automotive. Detlef Hoffmann, EMC Manager at Webasto Roof & Components SE and the new committee chairman of the EMV in Stuttgart, emphasizes the thematic structure of the event: "It makes sense to deepen the important EMC topics of your industry by attending several consecutive workshops.”

Engineers from development and production, sales or management have the opportunity to select presentations on special topics. Well-known speakers will give lectures on the following EMC topics, including:

  • EMC in electrical drive systems
  • EMI Risk Management: a Necessity for Safe and Reliable Electronic Systems!
  • Radio Modules and Integration into Electronic Equipment for FCC, ISED and RED
